DHOFAR, Oman — The landmark Raysut-Mughsayl Road Dualization Project in Oman, managed by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT), has entered a vital phase of structural concrete casting.
To ensure strict quality control and meet tight deadlines, contractors have successfully deployed 432 square meters (SQM) of high-performance HETO Frame Wall Formwork to construct massive expressway retaining walls.
This strategic infrastructure asset spans 33 kilometres, upgrading the current route into a high-capacity four-lane dual carriageway that connects the Raysut Industrial Zone with the Al Mughsayl tourism district. The engineering scope includes 6 bridges, heavy-duty drainage systems, and specialised animal crossings.
Operating in Dhofar’s challenging coastal-mountain topography, this modern modular formwork system reduces material waste and enhances structural safety, serving as a reliable capital asset for global heavy civil engineering.
