Muscat, Oman — Construction on a mid-rise residential development in Muscat has reached a major milestone with the successful completion of its basement wall pours. Utilizing TECON’s high-performance formwork solutions, the contractor achieved impressive operational efficiency, high panel reusability, and superior concrete surface finishes.


Located in Muscat, Oman, this residential project required a heavy-duty yet adaptable shuttering solution for its foundational basement structure. To meet tight construction deadlines within an estimated 2 to 3-month total rental window, the jobsite deployed 393 m² of TECON HETO Frame Wall Formwork. Due to space constraints and the absence of a permanent tower crane, material handling was executed smoothly using a hybrid approach of manual labor and mobile truck cranes.
This marks the second successful regional deployment of the 73 Series system, earning strong positive feedback from the end-client. Compared to standard 63 frame systems, the upgraded 73 Series HETO system features an increased panel depth for superior structural stability and upgraded plywood raw materials that significantly extend panel service life through repeated pours.
The ergonomic design allowed the site team to handle, position, and dismantle panels quickly without heavy fixed lifting equipment. This flexible transport strategy minimized site congestion and kept the project timeline moving without interruption.
