TECON participated in the SIE2023 Saudi Infrastructure Exhibition for two reasons. Firstly, it recognized the Saudi government's active open policies. Secondly, it was learned from previous online inquiries that there is a continuous demand for standard villas in Saudi Arabia. TECON received a large number of system template inquiries before and its clients and friends from other Middle Eastern countries, such as the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait, also mentioned the continuous demand in the Saudi market. Therefore, TECON sees immense opportunities in Saudi Arabia, and its business team hopes to gain a preliminary understanding of whether our product lines can provide support and assistance to local contractors through this exhibition.
The SIE2023 lasted for three days from September 11th to September 13th. TECON's booth number was 3G86, and a total of over 100 customers were contacted. More than 90% of them were within the industry, and some were well-known local contractor companies such as China State Construction Engineering Corporation and Aljdwa, as well as owner companies such as the National Water Company and the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services.
During the communication with customers, it was discovered that under the promotion of Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" and in line with the country's housing planning, various related companies were considering upgrading the craftsmanship of their projects. They showed great interest in TECON's exhibited HETO vertical frame formwork system, TST60, H20 wooden beam formwork system, TP60 plastic formwork system, TUNNEL FORMWORK integral casting system, and hydraulic climbing formwork system. TECON's team provided detailed answers to various technical questions raised by the customers and gave a comprehensive introduction to the advantages of various template systems that are suitable for local conditions.
In general, customers attach great importance to whether we have a subsidiary or partner in Saudi Arabia. Local contractors support companies that are locally present and have high requirements for the delivery time, cost-effectiveness, and after-sales service of template companies. Moreover, large-scale projects in the region have a high demand for templates, so suppliers need corresponding production and inventory capabilities to support it.
After the exhibition, TECON's business and technical teams also visited key customers' companies and project sites, deepening their understanding of the customers' on-site conditions, specific product characteristics, and demands for business cooperation methods, and also recommended suitable solutions and confirmed mutual intentions for cooperation.
