Canal Project in Singapore Using TECON Alumi Frame Wall Formwork

Table of Content [Hide]

In Singapore, formwork selection in construction projects typically prioritizes overall cost-effectiveness, concrete surface quality, and system durability. Among the various materials available, aluminum formwork has become the preferred choice due to its performance advantages and long-term value. Aligned with this market preference, the TECON Alumi Frame System has been widely adopted across the country, especially in commercial projects, for its efficiency, reusability, and ability to deliver a high-quality concrete finish.

Before use, tie rod holes were pre-added during production according to local PE endorsements and specific project requirements. With the client operating under a tight construction schedule, the TECON Alumi Frame Wall Formwork proved to be an ideal solution—supporting fast-paced work without compromising quality. The system allows two workers to assemble up to 150 m² per day, and this efficiency was clearly demonstrated during the actual installation process.

The client expressed strong appreciation for the refined and precise welding craftsmanship of our aluminum frames. They were also highly satisfied with the concrete finish after dismantling the formwork panels, noting that the surface was clean and completely free of residual water stains.Since the client frequently handles similar infrastructure projects, the TECON Alumi Frame System can be reused across multiple sites. The plywood typically lasts for 30 to 50 uses, the aluminum panels for 3 to 5 years, and other steel components for 5 to 10 years, resulting in substantial overall project cost.

This project once again demonstrates the practicality and reliability of the TECON Alumi Frame Wall Formwork in meeting the demands of infrastructure works under tight timelines. With its ease of assembly, high-quality finish, and long-term reusability, the system continues to provide significant value for contractors across Singapore. TECON remains committed to delivering efficient and cost-effective formwork solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the construction industry.
