TECON engineers were invited to attend the Training Session of Climbing Platform on 22nd of July, in Beijing, organized by industry association and one famous domestic SCP brand, total 6 days. Scores of Climbing Platform experts from different cities took part in this training. The purpose was to share and study the development of Climbing Platform Industry.
First generation called Attached Climbing Platform, and it was developed in late 1990s. The flame retardant standard is difficult to meet the relevant requirements of government, due to the using of safety net. Meanwhile, its ability to prevent puncture is too weak. During construction, steel bar, formwork or wall rods can go through net, which is easy to cause object strike accidents.
After years of development, the latest generation, called Integrated Self-Climbing Platform, also called SCP(Self-climbing Platform) in South East Asia Region, has come into site application with greatly improved safety and efficiency.
All the components are prefabricated in factory, which integrates the protective functions of external protective net, foot plate, horizontal and vertical bar, scissors brace, kick board, flip board and so on. It is attached to the building structure and can rely on its own power lifting equipment, mainly electrical hoist and chain black, to carry out the construction external protection products, which has anti-overturning, anti-falling device and lifting intelligent control system with overload alarm. It is a new technology which replaces the traditional scaffolding technology of high-rise building construction.
